**Role Description**
The Electrical Specialist role is a full-time, on-site position based in Albania. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment that support IT infrastructure and office operations, including power distribution, backup power solutions, and electrical safety systems. The Electrical Specialist will interpret electrical designs and schematics, perform inspections, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations. Daily tasks include diagnosing electrical issues, coordinating with IT technicians and other team members, documenting work performed, and recommending improvements to optimize reliability and efficiency. The role also includes supporting project-based electrical work for new installations, upgrades, and expansions across client locations.
**Qualifications**
- Strong foundational knowledge of Electricity and electrical principles applicable to commercial environments.
- Proficiency in Electrical Engineering and Electrical Design, including reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with Power Generation systems such as UPS, generators, and other backup power solutions.
- Hands-on skills in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Electrical Equipment used in IT and office settings.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards, codes, and best practices applicable in Albania.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues independently, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with IT support staff and clients.
- Attention to detail in documentation, reporting, and adherence to procedures.
- Previous experience in a service-oriented or small-business support environment is an advantage.
