General Manager

**Role Description** This is a full-time, on-site General Manager role based at Royal G Hotel and SPA in Durres, Albania. The General Manager oversees day-to-day hotel and spa operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, high service standards, and consistent brand representation. Responsibilities include managing departmental leaders (front office, housekeeping, F&B, spa, maintenance, and sales), setting performance targets, and coordinating daily briefings. The role also involves monitoring occupancy, revenue, and costs, preparing and managing budgets, and implementing strategies to drive profitability and guest satisfaction. The General Manager ensures compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements, leads recruitment and team development, and partners with owners and stakeholders on long-term business plans, marketing initiatives, and service improvements. **Qualifications** - Proven experience in hotel or resort general management, preferably in a 4- or 5-star property, with strong oversight of rooms, F&B, and spa operations. - Demonstrated leadership skills, including team coaching, performance management, and the ability to build an inclusive, service-oriented culture. - Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue management capabilities. - Excellent customer service, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills to handle guest requests and complex operational issues. - Solid understanding of hospitality sales, marketing, and online reputation management, including collaboration with digital and travel partners. - Knowledge of hotel management systems (PMS), point-of-sale systems, and basic office software (e.g., MS Office or equivalent). - Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment. - Fluency in English; knowledge of Albanian and/or additional languages is an advantage. - Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
