**Junior Software Engineer – AI Security Platform & Integrations

Job Description
Digitron Systems is looking for a motivated junior software engineer to contribute to the development of a proprietary platform designed to assess, monitor, and manage security risks associated with the use of Artificial Intelligence.
The role focuses on software development, backend services, APIs, databases, dashboards, reporting, automated workflows, and integration with cybersecurity solutions.
Key Responsibilities
\* Develop and maintain backend components and software services for the AI Security platform.
\* Develop and integrate APIs and connect different software components.
\* Design and manage databases for test results, security findings, and risk tracking.
\* Build dashboards for visualizing and monitoring security assessment results.
\* Implement automated reporting and workflows for tracking recommended remediation actions.
\* Develop automated processes for running tests, processing results, and managing security findings.
\* Contribute to integrations with cybersecurity solutions, including Fortinet technologies where technically supported.
\* Test software, troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and improve solution quality.
\* Apply secure software development practices and data protection principles.
\* Prepare technical documentation and collaborate with other members of the development team.
Requirements
\* Final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
\* Knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
\* Basic understanding of backend development, APIs, and databases.
\* Understanding of fundamental software development and testing principles.
\* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to problem-solving.
\* Interest in cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, and system integration.
\* Willingness to learn continuously and work collaboratively.
An Advantage
\* Experience with REST APIs, SQL databases, Git, or web development frameworks.
\* Basic knowledge of Docker, cloud technologies, or CI/CD practices.
\* Familiarity with frontend development or data visualization technologies.
\* Academic, personal, or other software development projects.
