LUFRA is pursuing further regional growth and global recognition for “Made in Albania” products. **Role Description** The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Lushnjë, responsible for ensuring reliable operation of production and utility equipment within LUFRA’s dairy processing facilities. This role includes planning and performing mechanical maintenance, conducting preventive inspections, diagnosing equipment issues, and carrying out timely repairs to minimize downtime. The engineer collaborates with production, quality, and logistics teams to prioritize maintenance needs, support continuous improvement, and implement safety and compliance standards. Daily tasks involve documenting maintenance activities, updating equipment records, coordinating with external service providers when needed, and contributing to projects that enhance equipment performance and energy efficiency. **Qualifications** - Strong mechanical maintenance background, with skills in Mechanical Maintenance and Maintenance Engineering. - Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for production and utility machinery. - Experience implementing Preventive Maintenance programs and reliability-focused maintenance practices. - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Knowledge of industrial machinery, pneumatics, hydraulics, and rotating equipment in a manufacturing environment (food or dairy industry experience is an advantage). - Understanding of safety regulations, ISO standards, and good manufacturing practices. - Ability to read technical drawings, use maintenance management systems, and work with diagnostic tools. - Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams. - Willingness to work on-site in Lushnjë and support occasional shift or weekend interventions when required.
