Their environment suits someone who enjoys startup culture, broad ownership, direct involvement in decisions and ability to influence technical strategy from day one. **About the role** In this role you will join an AI/ML team that builds AI-powered systems and internal products that help teams work more effectively, and develops AI solutions to help clients grow their business. You will take projects from idea to production, working closely with stakeholders to clarify needs, make decisions, and turn concepts into tools that are useful in practice. The role combines backend engineering with hands-on work on AI agents, LLM workflows, orchestration, and integrations. You’ll have a strong voice in technical decisions around architecture, tooling, and evaluation approaches for AI-powered features. **You will:** Build and maintain backend services that orchestrate LLM workflows, tool calling, and integrations with internal systems. Develop AI agents and internal tools that support teams across the business. Prototype new AI-driven solutions, validate their value quickly, and turn successful ideas into production-ready systems. Work with stakeholders to understand workflows, define requirements, and translate them into practical technical solutions. Improve the reliability of AI features through evaluation, monitoring, and iteration. Contribute to technical decisions around architecture, tooling, and implementation approaches for AI systems. **What you’ll bring:** 5+ years of experience in software development, ideally in backend or full-stack environments. 4+ years hands-on experience with Python, TypeScript, or similar technologies used to build production systems. 2+ years of experience building LLM-based products, tools, or agents beyond simple prototypes. Good understanding of prompt design, orchestration, tool calling, and how to make LLM systems useful in real workflows. Ability to lead projects end-to-end, work through ambiguity, and align effectively with stakeholders. Strong communication skills in English in a remote working environment. Nice to have Experience with internal developer tools or productivity systems. Background in mobile development, especially Android or iOS. Experience designing evaluation approaches for AI performance and reliability.
