This environment offers professionals the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, expanding organization. **Role Description** The Payroll Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Tirana, responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing for employees across SPAR Albania’s retail network. Daily tasks include collecting and verifying payroll data, calculating wages, overtime, benefits, and deductions, and ensuring compliance with applicable payroll tax regulations. The role also involves managing garnishments and preparing payroll reports for finance and management. The Payroll Specialist will respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, maintain payroll records, support audits, and collaborate with HR and Finance to improve payroll processes and controls. **Qualifications** - Candidates should possess strong skills in Payroll Administration and Payroll Processing to handle end-to-end payroll activities accurately and efficiently. - Candidates should possess expertise in Payroll Taxes and experience working with Payroll Services to ensure compliance and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders. - Candidates should possess proficiency with payroll and HRIS software, as well as solid MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting. - Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity. - Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with HR, Finance, and store management teams. - Candidates should possess prior experience in payroll or accounting; a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred. - Candidates should possess knowledge of Albanian labor and tax regulations; experience in retail or multi-location organizations is an advantage.
