Python Developer

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to design, build, and maintain production-grade applications and services. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience shipping and supporting Python code in real environments, understands performance and reliability trade-offs, and can work independently as well as within a team. This role is not about writing scripts only — it involves owning systems end-to-end, from design to deployment and maintenance. Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain Python applications and services used in production - Write clean, maintainable, and testable Python code - Debug, profile, and optimize existing systems for performance and reliability - Collaborate with product, DevOps, and frontend teams to deliver features end-to-end - Build and consume REST APIs and/or background workers - Write unit tests and integration tests; participate in code reviews - Diagnose and resolve production issues using logs, metrics, and monitoring tools - Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making - Follow security best practices and contribute to improving engineering standards Requirements - Strong proficiency in Python (3.x) with real production experience - Solid understanding of Python internals (memory management, GIL, concurrency) - Experience with at least one Python framework: - Backend: Django, Flask, FastAPI - Or async frameworks (e.g., asyncio-based systems) - Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL - Familiarity with ORMs (Django ORM, SQLAlchemy) and query optimization - Experience writing tests using pytest, unittest, and mocking techniques - Understanding of RESTful API design - Experience using Git and participating in code reviews - Comfortable debugging real production issues - Knowledge of Docker and containerized deployments - Familiarity with Azure cloud platform - Experience with message queues or background jobs (Celery, RabbitMQ, Kafka) Puna remote: Po Burimi: https://mk.linkedin.com/jobs/view/python-developer-at-worx-ai-4364313839
