Senior Fullstack Developer (Subcontractor) — Blueshift

Engagement: Self-employed subcontractor, full-time, open-ended Location: Skopje Language: English Start: ASAP About Blueshift Blueshift builds a transportation management platform that coordinates passenger bookings, fleets, drivers, and trip planning at scale. Our software handles mission-critical dispatch operations that thousands of rides depend on every day. We're a 20+ person distributed company. You'd join a ~6-person engineering team owning the full stack — from Go services and Postgres schemas to the interfaces drivers and planners use in the field. What you'll work on - Go backend services communicating over Twirp RPC (Protocol Buffers) - PostgreSQL schema design and query work across different domains - TypeScript frontends built with Lit (Web Components), Vaadin, and Mapbox GL - Real-time features over WebSockets and Google Cloud Pub/Sub - Integrations with external dispatch and operator systems What we're looking for - 5+ years building and shipping production fullstack systems - Strong Go and PostgreSQL — you're comfortable designing services and schemas, not just consuming them - Solid TypeScript on the frontend; experience with component-based UIs (Lit, Vaadin, React, Vue, or similar) - Comfortable working across a multi-service codebase and owning features end-to-end - Available full-time and able to start ASAP - Able to collaborate effectively in a distributed team working in English Big plus - Native mobile development (iOS / Swift, Android / Kotlin) — we're actively shifting away from Cordova and want help leading that transition - Experience with RPC/Protobuf toolchains (Twirp, gRPC, Connect) - Background in logistics, mapping, routing, or real-time location systems Engagement terms - Open-ended contract, full-time commitment - Monthly invoicing against a Macedonian business entity (we can help you setting up business entity) - Rate discussed during the interview process How to apply Send your CV and a short note to blagica@bluesift.mk Burimi: https://mk.linkedin.com/jobs/view/senior-fullstack-developer-subcontractor-%E2%80%94-blueshift-at-blueshift-doo-skopje-4401915935
