It automates labour-intensive tasks like data extraction and analysis, enabling analysts to focus on developing deeper insights and strategic decision-making. Midas AI streamlines the research process by intelligently analysing vast amounts of financial data and generating comprehensive, easy-to-understand reports. Its capabilities include real-time event analysis, live portfolio monitoring, and custom alert systems that allow analysts to stay ahead of market movements without manual data sifting. We are hiring: **Senior/Staff Engineer** Location: **remote (Macedonia)** **Responsibilities** - Own features and systems end to end: design, build, ship, monitor. - Work directly with founders on technical scope and trade-offs. Push back when something is the wrong thing to build. - Set the bar for code quality, testing and operational rigour across the team. - Use AI tools (Claude, Cursor and similar) as a core part of how you work. Review and harden AIgenerated code before it ships. - Mentor other engineers. Review their PRs, pair with them, and help level up how the team works. Contribute to delivery planning and technical roadmap alongside the founders. - Take part in on-call rotation and lead incident response when needed. **Requirements** - 6+ years building production software, with at least some of that in a small team or startup where you owned things end to end. - Comfortable across the full stack when needed. - Demonstrable experience shipping quickly without sacrificing quality. You know when to cut corners and when not to. - Fluent with AI-assisted development. You've integrated tools like Claude deeply into your workflow and have views on what works and what doesn't. - Good judgment on architecture and trade-offs. Pragmatic, not dogmatic. - Clear communicator. Can explain technical decisions to non-technical founders without being condescending or vague. **Nice to have** Experience in fintech, investment research, or tools for analysts.
