Solar PV Design Engineer (Utility-Scale PV EPC Project)

Hiring | Solar PV Design Engineer North Macedonia (Project Site) POWERCHINA Jiangxi Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. POWERCHINA is seeking a Solar PV Design Engineer to support the engineering and delivery of utility-scale Solar PV EPC projects in North Macedonia. The successful candidate will contribute to photovoltaic system design, engineering coordination, technical reviews, and project execution activities from design through construction support. Key Responsibilities • Support the design and engineering of utility-scale Solar PV projects • Review and coordinate technical deliverables related to: - PV plant layouts - String design and DC system configuration - AC collection systems - Cable routing and cable sizing - Grounding and lightning protection systems - SCADA and communication systems - Energy yield assessments and PV performance studies • Review engineering drawings and technical documentation throughout project development and execution • Support technical evaluations of equipment, suppliers, and subcontractors • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure technical alignment • Provide engineering support during construction, testing, commissioning, and project handover • Assist in resolving technical issues and supporting project delivery objectives Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related discipline • Experience supporting utility-scale Solar PV projects • Knowledge of photovoltaic system design principles and industry best practices • Familiarity with: - PVsyst - PVcase - AutoCAD • Understanding of MV/LV electrical systems, cable sizing, grounding, and electrical protection concepts • Familiarity with international engineering standards such as IEC and EN standards • Strong communication and coordination skills • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary project environment Preferred Experience • Utility-scale Solar PV EPC projects • Grid connection or substation interface coordination • Experience supporting projects through detailed design and construction phases • Experience working on renewable energy projects within Europe or the Balkan region What We Offer • Opportunity to work on utility-scale renewable energy projects • International EPC project environment • Professional development and career growth opportunities • Collaborative and multicultural team environment Burimi: https://mk.linkedin.com/jobs/view/solar-pv-design-engineer-utility-scale-pv-epc-project-at-powerchina-jiangxi-electric-power-construction-co-ltd-dubai-branch-4420696787
