UI/UX Designer & Frontend Developer (Freelance / On-Demand) in Kosova

We are looking for a **UI/UX Designer & Frontend Developer** who combines a strong design mindset with solid frontend development skills. In this role, you will not only implement existing designs but also **create UI/UX concepts, mockups, and visual designs yourself**, and then turn them into high-quality, responsive frontends. You will work on modern web interfaces and user experiences, taking responsibility from **initial design concepts** to **final frontend implementation**. ## Tasks * Design and develop modern web frontends with a strong focus on UX/UI * Create **UI/UX concepts, wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs** * Work with **Figma, Photoshop, and similar design tools** to design user interfaces * Translate your own designs (and sometimes provided concepts) into clean, responsive HTML/CSS * Implement UI components, layouts, and interactions with attention to usability and detail * Ensure consistent design systems, spacing, typography, and visual hierarchy * Optimize frontend performance and loading times * Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility * Collaborate with backend developers and stakeholders * Maintain clean, reusable, and well-structured frontend code * Continuously improve UX and usability based on feedback and best practices ## Requirements * Strong experience as a **UI/UX Designer and Frontend Developer** * Excellent skills in **HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript** * Strong sense for **design, layout, typography, colors, and user experience** * Hands-on experience with **Figma**, **Photoshop**, and comparable design tools * Ability to create complete designs independently, from concept to final UI * Solid understanding of **responsive and mobile-first design** * Experience translating designs into maintainable frontend code * Familiarity with component-based frontend structures * Basic experience with Git and version control * Detail-oriented, creative, and structured working style **Nice to have:** * Experience with accessibility and usability best practices * Experience with frontend performance optimization * Experience creating and maintaining design systems * Ability to interpret business requirements and turn them into UX-driven solutions ## Benefits * Flexible collaboration as **freelancer or hourly-based team member (on-demand)** * Remote work possible * Varied and design-driven frontend projects * High level of creative freedom and ownership * Long-term collaboration opportunities * Direct communication and fast decision-making * Professional and friendly working environment We are looking for **either an hourly-based, on-demand team member or an experienced freelancer** who can take ownership of both **design and frontend development** tasks.
