**Role Description**

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team in a full-time, on-site role located in the Detroit Metropolitan Area. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for assisting in financial entry and analysis, preparing financial statements, maintaining bookkeeping records, and utilizing accounting software effectively. Other tasks will include processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and collaborating with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial operations.

**Qualifications**

- Proficiency in Accounting, Finance, and Bookkeeping to manage financial transactions and records
- Experience in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements
- Knowledge of and experience working with Accounting Software
- Strong organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in the transportation or logistics industry is a plus
