**Job Description**

Be part of our team as a
**Finance Specialist (Овластен Сметководител)**
, where you will oversee payroll, bookkeeping, taxation, and accounts payable operations. You ensure compliance with local and international standards, collaborate with key stakeholders, maintain financial accuracy, and strengthen processes that support high-performing global finance operations.


**Your Daily Tasks**
Payroll

- Manage and process monthly payroll in compliance with local labor laws and company policies
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, deductions, benefits, and taxes
- Coordinate with HR and external payroll providers
- Prepare and submit payroll-related reports and statutory filings on time
- Reconcile payroll costs and collaborate with teams to ensure accurate client billing

Bookkeeping

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Record financial transactions in NetSuite Oracle
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure timely month-end close

Taxation

- Prepare and file local tax returns (VAT, CIT, PIT, etc.) in compliance with Macedonian tax regulations
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise on implications
- Support internal and external tax audits

Accounts Payable

- Review and process supplier invoices with proper documentation and approvals
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain vendor master data and ensure timely and accurate payments

Other Responsibilities

- Perform additional duties assigned by Finance leadership
- Serve as the point of contact for internal and external finance stakeholders
- Provide onsite employee support as required
- Evaluate and improve financial processes to enhance efficiency

**The Qualifications We Seek**

- **Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field**
- **3-5 years of experience in payroll, bookkeeping, taxation, and accounts payable**
- Strong knowledge of
**Macedonian accounting, tax, and labor laws**
- Proficiency in
**financial accounting software**
and
**MS Excel (Oracle NetSuite preferred)**
- **Fluency in English and Macedonian**
with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
- Experience in a shared services or multinational environment
- **Knowledge of IFRS and international tax principles**
- Certification in accounting or payroll
**(ACCA, CPA, or local equivalent)**

**Job Overview**

Employment Type: Full time

Shift: Day shift (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM), Weekends Off

Work Setup: Work from home, with occasional office work depending on business requirements
