**Job Title: Lawyer**

**Key Responsibilities**

- Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, subcontractor agreements, consultancy agreements, and supplier contracts.
- Provide legal guidance on construction laws, building regulations, zoning laws, and safety standards.
- Manage and resolve disputes involving contractors, subcontractors, clients, and suppliers.
- Advise project managers and executives on legal risks during project development and execution.
- Ensure compliance with local construction regulations, permits, and licensing requirements.
- Handle claims related to delays, defects, variations, and payment disputes.
- Prepare legal documentation, reports, and risk assessments
- Monitor changes in construction legislation and advise the organization accordingly.

**Qualifications**

- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
- Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Specialization or experience in construction law, contract law, or infrastructure projects.

**Experience**

- Typically
**3–7+ years of legal experience**
, preferably in construction or real estate development.
- Experience working with contractors, engineering firms, or construction companies is an advantage.
