**Compliance Officer**
for its offices in Tirana.
The company is engaged in various sectors such as energy, oil, construction, services, and trade, and has a successful track record as a leader in its industry.
**Position Purpose:**
The Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that the Group operates in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards. The role focuses on identifying, assessing, and monitoring compliance risks, in close coordination with the Internal Audit Department.
**Main Responsibilities:**
- Monitor and ensure the Group’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor legal and regulatory changes/developments and assess their impact on the Group’s operations.
- Develop, review, and update internal compliance policies and procedures.
- Identify, assess, and monitor compliance risks and propose preventive or corrective measures.
- Ensure compliance with the Ethical code and manage the reporting and documentation related to actions that violate it.
- Collaborate with the Internal Audit Department during internal audits and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.
- Perform periodic compliance reviews and controls to ensure adherence to approved policies and procedures.
- Prepare periodic compliance reports and submit them to the Head of Internal Audit, Customer Experience & Quality and Compliance as well as senior management.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance requirements and ethical standards and promote integrity and accountability in workplace.
- Support management in handling potential breaches, incidents, or non-compliance issues.
**Qualifications:**
- University degree in Law.
- Previous experience in compliance, audit, risk management, or legal functions (typically 3–5 years).
- Strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulatory frameworks relevant to the Group’s sector.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High-level of professional integrity and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
