Accounting Specialist

And while our projects are visible, what keeps them sustainable is less visible: disciplined accounting, Swiss-compliant reporting, and finance processes that don’t break under pressure. Now we’re building a small, ambitious finance team in  **Tirana**  and we’re hiring an  **Accounting Specialist (Full-time | On-site)** . **Your work will touch reality.** You won’t just “book invoices.” You’ll help keep a Swiss construction business financially stable and audit-ready — month after month. **What you’ll own (not “assist with”)** - Run the  **financial accounting**  independently and record business transactions on time - Prepare  **monthly & quarterly closings**  under Swiss accounting rules ( **OR** ) - Get everything ready for the people who ask the hard questions:  **Treuhänder & external auditors** - Keep  **Debitoren/Kreditoren**  under control (open items, payments, follow-ups) - Post  **accruals & provisions**  (Abgrenzungen & Rückstellungen) so the story matches the period - Prepare and reconcile  **payroll accounting**  (Lohnbuchhaltung) You’ll feel at home if you: - Like being the person who  **connects details into a system** - Work  **structured and precise**  — and don’t wait for perfect info (you  *go get it* ) - Spot patterns and think:  *“We can automate this.”* - Enjoy collaborating with colleagues outside finance, without losing your calm **German?**  Nice to have. Not mandatory.
