CoE Manager

 ## **ROLE** •    Lead and develop the Albania Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Tirana, managing 15–20 engineers across software and hardware development teams  •    Ensure the delivery of cost-effective software solutions, equipment, and devices supporting customer contracts and product roadmaps  •    Maintain and drive development roadmaps aligned with priorities and needs expressed by the Solutions Delivery organization  •    Ensure full adherence to SICPA development, security, quality, and compliance standards across all activities  •    Monitor solution obsolescence, anticipate required upgrades, and actively support the evolution and sustainability of solutions  •    Continuously improve the performance, responsiveness, predictability, and effectiveness of development teams  •    Build, retain, and develop a highly skilled, motivated, and knowledgeable workforce, fostering technical excellence and accountability  •    Establish and manage a network of local partners and suppliers to increase capacity or access specific skills when required  •    Provide clear visibility on development activities and performance, including capacity, delivery, quality, and cost KPIs  •    Maintain strong alignment and tight collaboration with other SICPA CoEs worldwide, ensuring consistency and reuse  •    Control and manage outsourcing and subcontracting budgets to absorb demand peaks **PROFILE** •    Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience  •    10+ years of experience managing software and/or hardware development or engineering teams  •    Proven experience leading teams in an international, matrix organization  •    Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders  •    High sense of accountability, ownership, and commitment to delivery and people development  •    Strong organizational and management skills, including planning, prioritization, and performance follow up  •    Solid test driven development mindset and focus on quality by design  •    Good knowledge of Agile and Scrum practices, applied pragmatically in mixed SW/HW environments  •    Fluent in English (spoken and written) **JOIN US!** •    Our success comes from our highly skilled and talented employees •    Respectful entrepreneurship and a long-term vision are key for success •    Our people contribute to a more secure world •    Diversity at all levels of an organization is a strength We offer an exciting and challenging role, with great potential for personal development within a unique organization in a fascinating industry.
