Financial Analyst

We are looking for a proactive, detail‑driven Senior Management Accountant/ Financial Analyst to strengthen our Group Finance function. This role is central to delivering accurate month‑end reporting, supporting statutory and tax compliance, and ensuring alignment across our growing group structure. You will work in a fast‑paced, technology‑focused environment and play a key role in supporting consolidation, audit readiness, and financial insight for senior stakeholders. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a scaling organisation, is confident navigating change, and brings experience in group structures, mergers, and hive‑ups. Experience with NetSuite ERP is a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities **Month-End & Financial Reporting** - Deliver timely and accurate month‑end close for the group and its subsidiaries. - Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow. - Perform detailed month‑end variance analysis, providing clear commentary and insight. - Complete monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations with full audit‑ready support. - Ensure alignment of subsidiary accounts with Group reporting standards and policies. - Maintain and reconcile Fixed Asset Registers. **Group Consolidation** - Support the preparation of monthly Group consolidated accounts. - Assist with intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and group adjustments. - Work closely with the Group Financial Controller to enhance consolidation processes. **Tax & Compliance** - Prepare and submit VAT returns and associated reconciliations across the Group. - Support corporation tax data preparation and statutory compliance requirements. - Assist with internal and external audit deliverables, ensuring high‑quality documentation. **Business Partnering & Stakeholder Engagement** - Build strong relationships across operational, commercial, and technology teams. - Provide proactive financial insight to support decision‑making and cost control. - Communicate financial performance clearly to non‑finance stakeholders. **Change, Integration & Systems** - Support finance integration activities relating to mergers, acquisitions, and hive‑ups. - Contribute to the implementation and optimisation of the Group’s finance systems. - Leverage NetSuite ERP (advantageous) to streamline reporting and improve data quality. **Key Skills/Experience** - Newly qualified or part‑qualified ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent). - Strong experience in month‑end reporting, tax returns, and audit support. - Experience working within a high‑growth, technology‑focused or multi‑entity environment. - Exposure to group consolidations, mergers, or hive‑up processes. - Advanced Excel skills and experience with modern finance systems; NetSuite ERP highly advantageous. - Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial controls. - High attention to detail, strong analytical capability, and a proactive mindset. - Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
