The teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons in Humanities subjects aligned with IB standards and school policies, with a focus on inquiry-based and student-centered learning. Daily responsibilities include designing differentiated learning activities, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, participate in school-wide initiatives, support co-curricular activities, and communicate regularly with families to foster student growth and wellbeing. The role also involves contributing to a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, global awareness, and respectful dialogue. **Qualifications** - You must have a fully certified and up to date teaching Degree in a relevant field - An up to date Police Check that allows you to work with children - Ability to design effective lesson plans and learning activities, demonstrating strong Lesson Planning skills. - Experience teaching Middle School students, with an understanding of their developmental and academic needs. - Strong Communication skills for clear instruction, collaborative teamwork, and professional interaction with families. - Subject matter expertise in related Humanities disciplines (History, Geography and/or Business studies). - Relevant university degree in Education or a Humanities field; teaching qualification or certification preferred. - Previous experience in international or IB schools is highly beneficial. - Demonstrated ability to create inclusive, culturally responsive classrooms and support diverse learning needs. - Proficiency in English; additional language skills are an asset. - Strong organizational skills, professional integrity, and a commitment to continuous professional growth.
