We are looking for a Junior Storage System Engineer. **Key Responsibilities** - Support the senior team in the design, implementation, and administration of enterprise SAN, NAS, and Object Storage infrastructures - Assist in the management of SAN Fabrics (Brocade, Cisco), learning zoning concepts and configuration practices - Contribute to monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities for storage infrastructures - Participate in innovation, evolution, migration, and consolidation projects, taking on increasing responsibilities over time - Collaborate on integration activities with virtualized environments and hybrid cloud platforms - Support the implementation of data protection, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity policies - Contribute to the creation of technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures - Work closely with infrastructure teams and progressively interact with vendors **Qualifications and Skills** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields - Willingness to travel to customer sites when required - Basic understanding of IT architecture concepts, operating systems (Linux and/or Windows Server), and networking - Foundational knowledge of storage systems and protocols (Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, SMB/CIFS) acquired through studies, internships, or personal projects - Familiarity with at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) - Interest in virtualization environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud technologies - Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork mindset, and willingness to learn - Good knowledge of English language (minimum B2 level) for reading technical documentation and conversation **Nice to Have** - Entry-level certifications (e.g., storage vendors, VMware, Cisco, cloud providers) - Experience (including academic exposure) with platforms such as NetApp, Dell, HPE, or automation technologies - Knowledge Italian Language **What You Can Expect:** - Competitive compensation depending on experience and skills; - Hybrid work model, option to choose/combine work from home/office; - Private health insurance; - Opportunity to learn 7 different languages using our E-learning platform; - Great colleagues, open informal, and fun atmosphere; - Chance to be part of a professional and highly dynamic international environment. **We are looking forward to meeting you.
