**Job Title: Senior Accounting Associate** **About Us** We are a dynamic, client-focused accounting and advisory firm based in New York City. We provide comprehensive back-office support to our US-based clients, including bookkeeping, bill pay, invoicing, financial reporting, and expert QuickBooks support. Our team is in New York and Tirana. We are hiring for our Tirana office. **The Role** We are seeking a skilled and experienced **Accountant** to join our team in Tirana. In this role, you will be the financial backbone for a portfolio of US clients, managing their full-cycle accounting to ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness. More than just a bookkeeper, you will be a key partner in our clients' success, supporting them with **financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting** . You will also play a critical role in **preparing audit-ready financials** and supporting our Fractional CFO services, all while serving as a reliable, professional point of contact for client needs. **Key Responsibilities** - Manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of US-based clients (AP, AR, invoicing, bill pay). - Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations. - Execute month-end and year-end close procedures. - Prepare client-facing financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). - Prepare monthly budget vs. actual reports and investigate key variances. - Assist in the development of client budgets and financial forecasts. - Prepare cash flow forecasting and management reporting. - Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for client dashboards. - Provide support and troubleshooting for QuickBooks Online. - Prepare and maintain audit-ready workpapers and schedules for external auditors. - Act as a liaison for external audit requests, gathering necessary documentation. - Prepare and file 1099s at year-end. - Communicate directly with clients via email and video calls to resolve queries and deliver reports. - Assist with new client onboarding and accounting system setup. **What We're Looking For** - 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
