Senior AI Engineer

Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong software engineering background combined with hands-on experience delivering production-level AI solutions. This role focuses on OCR, LLM prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and backend integration for scalable AI applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions that solve real-world problems. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions for production environments - Implement and optimize OCR systems for structured and unstructured documents - Develop and refine prompts for LLM-based applications to ensure accuracy and efficiency - Fine-tune models to improve performance, including transformer-based architectures - Integrate AI components seamlessly into backend systems and microservices - Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to deliver scalable AI products - Maintain and monitor AI models, ensuring reliability, observability, and performance Technical Requirements Programming & Software Engineering - Strong proficiency in Python (advanced level) - Experience building production-grade applications and scalable systems - Familiarity with asynchronous programming and performance optimization Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning - Minimum 3 years of hands-on AI/ML implementation experience - Practical experience deploying AI models in production - Strong understanding of: - Supervised and unsupervised learning - Model evaluation metrics and performance tuning - Data preprocessing and feature engineering - Experience with ML/AI frameworks: - PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenAI APIs or other AI systems Prompt Engineering & LLM Optimization - Advanced experience designing and optimizing prompts for LLMs - Familiarity with: - Prompt chaining and system prompt structuring - Context window management and token optimization - Reducing hallucinations and improving output accuracy - Experience implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures OCR & Document Intelligence - Hands-on experience with OCR tools (e.g., Tesseract, AWS Textract, Azure OCR, Google Vision) - Expertise in document parsing, layout detection, and data extraction pipelines - Experience integrating OCR outputs into downstream AI workflows Model Fine-Tuning & Optimization - Experience fine-tuning LLMs - Understanding trade-offs between latency and accuracy Backend & System Integration - Experience integrating AI models into backend systems - Strong knowledge of: - Microservices architecture - API orchestration and event-driven systems - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure,) Required Experience - Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in AI / ML projects - Proven experience delivering AI solutions in production environments Preferred Qualifications - Experience with cloud-native deployments - Strong understanding of system architecture and performance optimization - Ability to work independently and lead AI initiatives - Experience mentoring junior engineers or AI practitioners What We Offer - Competitive compensation and benefits - Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI technologies - High-impact role in a fast-growing, innovative environment - Professional growth and leadership opportunities Burimi: https://al.linkedin.com/jobs/view/senior-ai-engineer-at-oracle-law-global-4363949481
