Senior Geotechnical Engineer

**Role Overview** The Senior Geotechnical Engineer will lead and manage all geotechnical engineering activities for the Sazan Project, supporting early works, enabling infrastructure, and permanent works design. The role ensures that ground investigation data, design recommendations, and construction methodologies are technically sound, buildable, and suitable for phased island development. **Key Responsibilities** - Review, manage, and interpret geotechnical investigations (boreholes, trial pits, lab testing). - Define geotechnical design parameters for foundations, earthworks, slopes, retaining structures, and temporary works. - Coordinate with design consultants to ensure geotechnical inputs are fully integrated into architectural, structural, and infrastructure designs. - Review geotechnical reports, calculations, and drawings for compliance with project requirements and applicable codes. - Provide technical support during early works, including site formation, access roads, temporary facilities, and utilities. - Advise on ground improvement, dewatering, excavation support, and risk mitigation measures. - Support construction teams during excavation and foundation works, including site visits and technical problem solving. - Identify geotechnical risks and contribute to mitigation strategies and method statements. **Qualifications & Experience** - Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering. - Minimum 12-15 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience. - Proven experience on large-scale developments, resorts, infrastructure, or island/coastal projects. - Strong knowledge of international geotechnical design standards and practices.
